Are You Holding a Secret? Here’s What That Might Really Mean

If you’re holding something in your heart that no one knows…

If there’s a truth inside you that feels too tender, or too risky, to speak out loud…

I want to begin by saying: I see you.

And I honour the part of you that’s still learning how to be fully seen.

Secrecy isn’t always about betrayal.

Sometimes, it’s about protection.

Sometimes, it’s the soul’s way of saying, “I’m not ready yet. But I want to be.”

Secrecy Isn’t Always Wrong

It’s easy to think in black and white, especially when it comes to relationships. But real life is far more complex.

You might be keeping something private not because you’re lying, but because you’re still growing the courage to live as your whole self.

You might still be finding your way back to your truth.

That doesn’t make you a bad person.

It just means you’re human.

And from where I sit, that’s where the real work begins.

What Is Your Secrecy Trying to Show You?

Rather than judging your secrecy or forcing yourself to “come clean,” what if you got curious?

Ask yourself:

  • What part of me is hiding, and why?

  • What would it feel like to live in full honesty?

  • What am I afraid might happen if I speak my truth?

Often, secrecy points to a part of us that hasn’t felt safe to be loved as we truly are.

That doesn’t mean you need to make a big confession or take dramatic action.

It just means it might be time to start listening to your own truth, to your own body, to what’s stirring inside.

Your Body Holds the Clues

Our bodies often know the truth before we’re ready to say it.

You might feel it as:

  • Tension in your legs or pelvis

  • A tight throat or clenched jaw

  • Shallow breath or frozen stillness

  • A vague sense of guilt or fear, even if nothing “wrong” has happened

These are signs that part of you is holding something in. Not out of deceit, but out of self-protection.

And that’s okay.

In our sessions together, we can explore these sensations slowly, gently. No pressure. No fixing. Just presence.

A Somatic Path Toward Inner Alignment

If you’re longing to live more honestly, here’s what that path might look like with me:

1. Create a Safe Inner Space

We begin by exploring what you’re hiding, not to judge it, but to understand it. What part of you is afraid? What part is ready to be seen?

2. Reconnect to Your Body

Through breath, sound, touch, and movement, we help your body start to feel safe again. You don’t have to speak before you’re ready. Sometimes, just humming or sighing can open a doorway.

3. Make Peace With the Part That Hides

You’ll meet the part of yourself that holds back, and the part that longs for more freedom, connection, or intimacy. We won’t rush. We’ll let the wisdom unfold.

4. Explore What Freedom Means to You

We might gently touch on your fantasies, your desires, or the parts of your life that feel constrained. Not to break anything, but to understand what you’re really yearning for.

5. Step Into Who You’re Becoming

Eventually, the question becomes: If I were living in alignment with who I truly am, what would shift?

And how can I bring more truth, not through confessions or pressure, but through presence, integrity, and love?

If You’re Not Ready to Tell the Truth to Others…

That’s okay.

The first step is telling the truth to yourself.

Sometimes, we hold secrets not to deceive, but because we don’t yet feel strong enough to face what that truth might change.

Together, we’ll help you build that strength.

One breath at a time.

And if the day ever comes when you do want to speak your truth to someone else, I can help you find the words, not as a confession, but as an offering.

You Are Not Alone

You don’t need to carry this by yourself.

In my sessions, there’s space for your truth.

There’s room for your fear, your longing, your confusion, your heart.

There’s no demand to be perfect.

Just a gentle invitation:

To meet yourself more fully.

To grow into honesty with kindness.

To turn secrecy into sacred self-knowing.

That’s the tantric path.

That’s the way home.
