Your Body Isn’t a Problem to Fix: It’s a Language You Were Never Taught
We spend most of our lives misunderstanding our own bodies.
Every tight chest.
Every heavy leg.
Every knot in the stomach.
Every strange ache that seems to appear out of nowhere.
We label these sensations as problems.
We treat them like flaws.
We tell ourselves to push through, toughen up, get over it, or be stronger.
But after touching hundreds of bodies through my Tantra Massage work in Perth and Western Australia, I’ve learned something that changed everything for me…
Your body is never trying to sabotage you.
Your body is always trying to reach you.
And every sensation is a message.
A whisper.
A clue.
A map.
If you can learn your body’s language, you stop fighting yourself and start understanding yourself.
This is where real healing begins.
Let me take you into this journey more deeply.
The body is a storyteller
When someone lies down on my massage table, they often think they’re bringing me their muscles, their stress, or their desire.
But what they are really bringing me is history.
A body carries far more truth than the mind ever admits.
You can hide your thoughts.
You can hide your insecurities.
You can hide your fear of not being enough.
But you cannot hide how your belly tightens when someone gets too close.
You cannot hide how your breath lifts when you are overwhelmed.
You cannot hide how your chest closes when you don’t feel safe.
You cannot hide how your pelvis freezes when you carry shame.
The body always reveals what the mind has learned to mask.
And this is not a flaw.
It is wisdom.
Why men silence their body’s messages
Men in Perth tell me the same story again and again:
They were taught to be the strong one.
The steady one.
The collected one.
The one who never cracks, never falters, never needs.
From FIFO workers to business owners to farmers to executives, the story is identical:
Feelings were never welcomed.
Sensitivity was mocked.
Softness was mistrusted.
Emotional expression was discouraged.
So sensations became the enemy.
Pleasure became confusing.
Intimacy became pressure.
The body became something to control rather than listen to.
But a body you ignore is a body that screams louder.
Tension grows.
Pleasure dims.
Stress hides beneath the skin.
Erections become inconsistent.
Energy drops.
Desire becomes distant.
Not because anything is wrong.
But because the messages have been silenced for too long.
The moment the body feels safe
There is a moment I watch for in every session.
The moment a man goes from thinking to feeling.
At first, he lies down and tries to relax.
You can see the effort in his breath.
The slight tension in his shoulders.
The way his palms hover instead of resting.
As if his body is waiting for something.
Then my hands land on his back.
Slow.
Warm.
Without agenda.
Not trying to fix him.
Not trying to take him anywhere.
Simply meeting him.
The change is subtle at first.
His spine softens.
His breath deepens.
The muscles in his jaw relax.
And then… there it is.
The surrender breath.
The one that comes from somewhere deeper than lungs.
The one that feels like he hasn’t let himself breathe in years.
This is the moment his nervous system recognises:
I am safe.
And once the body feels safe, it will tell the truth.
It will show you where it hurts.
It will show you where it longs.
It will show you where it hides.
It will show you where it opens.
This is the heart of Tantra Massage.
Nothing is wrong with your body
You are not too sensitive.
You are not too emotional.
You are not too much.
You are not broken.
You are simply carrying messages you were never taught to interpret.
A tight chest might mean your heart needs space.
A heavy belly might mean you are holding unspoken worries.
A tense pelvis might mean you have lived too long inside performance pressure.
Cold hands might mean you are disconnected from your own desire.
A shallow breath might mean you do not feel supported.
None of these sensations are random.
They are communication.
But because no one teaches men to understand this, they assume their body is failing.
When really, their body is begging for attention.
Tantra Massage as a way back into the body
In my practice in Perth, Tantra Massage is not about erotic stimulation.
It is about nervous system regulation.
It is about co-regulation.
It is about breath, slowness, and the gentle return to inner truth.
Here’s what happens during a session:
We slow down.
We breathe.
We listen.
We create space for your body to express without needing to hide.
We give sensation time to reveal what is underneath.
We treat every feeling as an invitation, not a flaw.
This is why men who have been numb for years suddenly feel more.
Why erections become easier.
Why pleasure becomes warmer and deeper.
Why emotional clarity arrives without force.
Why anxiety softens.
Why intimacy becomes easier.
When your body is listened to, it responds.
At-home practices to start hearing your body
Here are three simple practices you can try today.
1. The three-point check-in
Ask yourself:
What is my breath doing
What is my belly doing
What is my chest doing
Do not fix anything.
Just notice.
Awareness creates space.
2. The sensation sentence
Say aloud:
In this moment, I am feeling ___
And it is okay.
This reduces tension instantly.
3. The hand on heart ritual
Place one hand on your heart.
Breathe slowly.
Say:
I am listening.
That is enough.
Your body is on your side
Your body has been trying to guide you your whole life.
Not through logic.
Through sensation.
Through warmth.
Through ache.
Through tightness.
Through breath.
When you stop treating your sensations as problems, you finally learn to hear what they’ve been saying all along.
You are allowed to feel.
You are allowed to soften.
You are allowed to listen.
Your body is not your enemy.
She is your way home.
If that pulls at you, even quietly, I would love to work with you.
With love,
Kali 💛
