I never intended to stay in Perth, but life had other plans. Marriage, uncertainty, a shift in purpose. When faced with the idea of returning to engineering, my whole being resisted. Instead, I found myself cleaning houses, an irony that left those who knew me laughing… Kali a cleaner? the one with a perpetually messy room?

But this work became a portal. It grounded me in the body, brought strength and discipline, and most of all taught me the beauty of simple, human connection.

My clients became my greatest teachers, showing me that true service is not about what we do, but how present we are in the doing.

Then, the world stopped. The pandemic stripped away the job that had unknowingly nourished me. In the stillness, grief crept in, followed by a vision…a single word: Support. And then another, more unsettling: You will die at 57. The second one sent me spiraling into a search for understanding. I turned to therapists, healers, teachers. I was constantly seeking, yearning, learning.

But the truth wasn’t outside of me. It was through Vedic Meditation, energy work, conscious chiropractic care, and studying counselling that I began to meet myself, perhaps for the first time. I saw how long I had been living dissociated from my body, my truth. A soul-shaking relationship became the final mirror, revealing all I had avoided. It brought me to my knees, and back to my heart.

And then, Tantra entered.

What began as a quest to heal my broken heart became a return to something much deeper: my essence. Tantra didn’t just mend what was broken, it awakened the divine within me. It dissolved the fear of dying young and reawakened the joy of being fully alive.
